Our new Walsingham Association welcome signs for the Pilgrim Season

As the 2026 pilgrim season begins, we are glad to share the introduction of new feather flags and roll-up banner bearing our invitation to “Be Part of Walsingham Everyday.”

These new signs have been prepared as an expression of welcome for all who come in pilgrimage to Walsingham, while also making visible the hospitality and prayerful mission of the Walsingham Association.

The roll-up banner carries our updated contact details and an introduction to the Association, and has been designed so that it may also accompany us beyond the Shrine when opportunities arise to share the work and devotion to Our Lady of Walsingham elsewhere in the country.

The banners and flags were first unveiled during the Salford Pilgrimage and then again at the Bank Holiday Monday East Anglian Diocesan Pilgrimage (see images below), marking their introduction into the life of our continuing mission at the Shrine.

May they serve quietly but clearly as a sign of welcome and to encourage pilgrims to keep Our Lady of Walsingham in their hearts when their leave her Shrine as members of our Association.
